Terms of Service

These terms explain the rules, responsibilities, and limits that apply when you use the IConverter website, app, and paid features.

Last updated:June 27, 2026

Acceptance of terms

By using, downloading, or accessing the IConverter app, website, or related services provided by Xionity, you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, do not continue using the service.

You should also read our Privacy Policy to understand how the app handles information in conversion, compression, PDF, subscription, and support scenarios.

Service scope

IConverter provides file conversion, image tools, video compression, audio conversion, PDF operations, batch processing, output management, account, subscription, restore purchase, and support features. Specific features may vary by device, system version, region, subscription status, file type, and review requirements.

Some features may be processed locally on your device, while eligible tasks may require server-side processing after a user-facing notice and confirmation. We may modify, improve, suspend, or discontinue features where needed for security, reliability, legal compliance, marketplace requirements, or product maintenance.

Eligibility and accounts

You must be legally able to use the service in your country or region. If you use the service on behalf of another person or organization, you confirm that you have authority to do so.

Many core file tools can be used without creating an account. Account-based features may be required for purchase restore, cloud task history, credits, support, or synchronizing paid access. You are responsible for keeping your account, device, and marketplace credentials secure.

If the app supports account creation, it also provides a way to request account deletion in the app and through the account deletion page on this website.

Your responsibilities

  • You must ensure you have the right to import, convert, compress, store, share, or export relevant files.
  • You may not use the service for illegal, infringing, fraudulent, malicious, abusive, or privacy-violating content.
  • You are responsible for backing up important files and checking output content, format, quality, metadata, and recipients before relying on or sharing files.
  • You should protect your device, account, and subscription account.
  • You may not attempt to reverse engineer, disrupt, overload, scrape, bypass access controls, interfere with purchase validation, or misuse cloud processing resources.
  • You may not upload or process files that contain malware, exploit code, unlawful content, or content you do not have authority to handle.

Subscriptions, payments, credits, and cancellation

Some features may require paid access, a subscription, a one-time purchase, or credits. Purchase availability, feature limits, trial availability, credit amounts, renewal terms, prices, taxes, and billing periods are shown in the app or by the marketplace before purchase.

Subscriptions and one-time purchases are processed by the platform app marketplace used for purchase. The marketplace may handle payment information, taxes, renewals, cancellation, refunds, family sharing availability, purchase history, and receipts under its own terms.

Subscriptions may renew automatically unless canceled through the marketplace account used for purchase before the renewal deadline shown by that marketplace. Uninstalling the app usually does not cancel a subscription.

If paid access does not appear correctly, use the Restore Purchase feature in the app or contact support with the purchase platform, product, approximate purchase time, and account email used in the app. Refunds are generally handled by the marketplace that processed the purchase unless applicable law requires otherwise.

Credits, if offered, may be used for eligible cloud tasks or other paid processing features shown in the app. Credits may have usage rules, technical limits, and expiration or availability terms shown at purchase or in the app.

Files, output, and cloud processing

  • Conversion can change formatting, metadata, quality, compatibility, or file size.
  • PDF, image, audio, video, and document outputs may not perfectly preserve the original.
  • Eligible cloud tasks are processed only after user confirmation and are subject to the notice shown in the app.
  • When files are sent through system sharing, cloud drives, email, or third-party apps, later processing is handled by the service you choose.
  • You retain ownership of your files. You grant us the limited permission needed to process, store temporarily, transmit, and return files solely for the selected task, support request, security, or legal compliance purpose.
  • We do not guarantee that converted files will be accepted by every third-party app, website, printer, archive tool, government portal, business system, or professional workflow.

Privacy, permissions, and third-party services

The Privacy Policy explains what information is handled, how it is used, when files may be processed locally or in the cloud, how long information is retained, and how to request deletion.

The app may depend on system file pickers, system share sheets, platform marketplace services, sign-in providers, diagnostics providers, hosting providers, and support tools. Third-party services you choose to use may apply their own terms and privacy policies.

If you deny or revoke permissions such as file, photo, camera, or storage access, related features may be unavailable or limited.

Intellectual property

IConverter, the website, app interface, software, design, text, graphics, and related materials are owned by us or our licensors and are protected by applicable intellectual property laws.

These terms do not transfer ownership of our software or brand assets to you. You may use the app only as permitted by these terms and applicable marketplace rules.

Disclaimers and limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, the service is provided as is and as available. We do not guarantee that the service will always be uninterrupted, error-free, completely secure, or that output will satisfy every legal, accounting, medical, government, business, archiving, or production requirement.

To the maximum extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, punitive, or consequential losses arising from use or inability to use the service, including data loss, business interruption, lost profits, or file misuse.

Nothing in these terms limits rights that cannot be limited under applicable consumer protection, privacy, marketplace, or other mandatory laws.

Suspension, termination, and account deletion

If you violate these terms or abuse the service, we may reasonably limit, suspend, or terminate access to related features.

You may stop using the service at any time. If you created an account, you may request deletion through the in-app account deletion flow or the account deletion page on this website. Some records may be retained where required for security, fraud prevention, tax, accounting, dispute resolution, marketplace compliance, or legal obligations.

Changes to these terms

We may update these terms as the product, marketplace rules, or laws change. Updated terms will be posted on this page with the displayed last updated date.

If a change materially affects your rights or obligations, we will provide notice where required by applicable law or marketplace requirements. Continued use after the effective date means you accept the updated terms.
