Developer and privacy contact
IConverter is provided by Xionity. If you have privacy questions, data requests, account deletion requests, billing support questions, or reviewer questions, contact us at support@knofast.com.
This privacy policy is publicly available on the web and is intended to match the data handling disclosures shown in the app and in marketplace review forms.
Information we handle
IConverter is a mobile utility for converting, compressing, previewing, saving, and sharing files selected by the user. To provide these features, the app may process file names, file types, extensions, sizes, selected options, task status, output metadata, processing logs, and error states.
If you choose to sign in, we may process your email address, display name if provided by the sign-in provider, user ID, sign-in provider identifiers, authentication tokens, server session identifiers, device metadata needed for session management, and account deletion requests.
When you contact support, we may process your email address, message content, attachments you choose to send, app version, device model, operating system version, language, region, diagnostic details, and the steps needed to investigate your request.
When you make or restore a purchase, we may process marketplace product identifiers, entitlement status, subscription status, transaction identifiers, receipt or purchase tokens, purchase region, refund or cancellation status, and server-side verification records. We do not receive your full payment card number from marketplace purchases.
When diagnostics or analytics are enabled by the app or platform services, we may receive crash reports, performance information, feature usage events, approximate device and app environment information, and server request metadata such as IP address, timestamps, and error logs.
Local and cloud processing
Supported conversion and compression tasks run on the device when available. Some eligible tasks may require server-side processing because the selected format, file size, tool, or device capability requires it. Before an eligible cloud task starts, IConverter shows a processing notice so you can decide whether to continue.
- Camera, photo library, file picker, and storage access are used only for the workflows you choose, such as importing a file, creating a PDF, selecting media, saving an output, or sharing a result.
- Local files and outputs remain under your control unless you save, share, upload for an eligible task, or contact support with file details.
- Temporary cloud files are used only to complete the selected task, troubleshoot failures, protect service integrity, and deliver the output to you. They are not used to train advertising systems or unrelated AI models.
- IConverter does not ask for contacts, SMS, precise location, health data, or microphone recording access for its core file conversion workflow.
How we use information
- Provide file import, conversion, compression, preview, PDF tools, batch processing, output saving, sharing, purchase restore, and customer support.
- Maintain service stability and troubleshoot conversion failures, compatibility issues, purchase restore problems, and export errors.
- Validate purchases, manage paid access, respond to billing-related requests, and comply with marketplace and legal obligations.
- Detect abuse, protect service integrity, and improve reliability using aggregate diagnostics where available.
- Understand whether important features are working as expected, prioritize bug fixes, and maintain compatibility across supported device and system versions.
Sharing and third-party services
IConverter may rely on platform app marketplace services, supported third-party sign-in providers, diagnostics and analytics services, purchase validation services, backend hosting, cloud storage, conversion workers, email support tools, and security providers. These providers process related information only as needed to provide their services to us.
When you import, export, save, or share content through system features or third-party apps, later processing is handled by the service you choose and your device settings.
We do not sell personal and sensitive user data. We do not share selected files with third-party advertising networks. We may disclose information if required by law, to protect users or the service, to investigate abuse, or as part of a business transfer with appropriate notice and protections.
Service providers are expected to protect user data consistently with this policy and applicable marketplace rules.
Security
We use reasonable administrative, technical, and organizational safeguards designed to protect information handled by IConverter. This includes using encrypted transport such as HTTPS for supported network requests, limiting access to operational systems, and using service providers that support secure data handling.
No method of transmission or storage is completely secure. You should keep your device, account, and marketplace credentials protected, and avoid sending sensitive files to support unless needed for your request.
Retention and deletion
Local files and outputs stay on your device until you delete them, clear temporary files, or uninstall the app. We cannot delete files that you have already exported, saved to another location, or shared with another service.
Temporary cloud processing files are retained only for the time needed to process the selected task, provide short-term output access or failure recovery, maintain security, and comply with legal obligations. They are designed to be deleted automatically after the processing purpose ends.
Account records, server sessions, support emails, diagnostic logs, security logs, entitlement records, and necessary transaction records may be retained for support, accounting, dispute resolution, fraud prevention, security, tax, and legal compliance.
You can delete in-app files, uninstall the app, revoke app permissions in system settings, or use the in-app and web account deletion flow to request deletion of account profile data, sign-in identities, and server sessions. Marketplace purchase records and subscription billing records may be retained by the relevant marketplace or by us where required.
Your choices and rights
Depending on your region, you may request access, correction, deletion, export, restriction, or objection regarding personal information we control. You may also withdraw consent where processing depends on consent.
To make a request, contact support@knofast.com. We may need information to verify that you control the account or email address related to the request. We will respond according to applicable law.
You can manage device permissions through system settings. If you deny a permission, related import, export, camera, file selection, or saving features may not work until permission is granted or an alternative source is selected.
Children
IConverter is not directed to children under 13 or to children under the minimum age required by applicable local law. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child provided personal information to us, contact us so we can review and delete it where required.
International processing
IConverter may process information in countries or regions where we or our service providers operate. When information is transferred across borders, we use appropriate safeguards required by applicable law and marketplace requirements.
Policy updates
We may update this privacy policy as product features, platform requirements, or legal obligations change. Updated versions will be posted on this page with the displayed last updated date.
